CEE HPN is part of the International project DIGI4Care

The DIGI4Care project (Digital Medical Technologies Reshaping the DR Healthcare Systems Throughout the Patient Journeys from Prevention to Rehabilitation) aims to support innovations and digital solutions in healthcare practice, addressing the shortage of qualified personnel.

Ensuring Successful Integration with a Comprehensive Digital Framework

In addition to ensuring the effective integration of digital technologies in healthcare, DIGI4Care focuses on assessing the feasibility and benefits of digitization in healthcare processes. This includes evaluating technologies, financial models, data management, ethical considerations, and workforce skill development. This comprehensive approach aspires to ensure the efficient integration of digital solutions into clinical practice, equipping healthcare workers with the necessary skills for successful implementation.

12 Organizations, 8 Countries, 4 Pilot Programs from Prevention to Rehabilitation

The DIGI4Care project brings together 12 organizations from 8 countries (Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina) to collaboratively develop, test, and validate the integration of digital technologies into healthcare workflows. The transnational collaboration aims to bridge the digital divide between newer and older EU member states, as well as non-EU countries in the Danube region.

Four pilot programs will be designed, implemented, and evaluated cross-border, focusing on the entire continuum of healthcare from prevention, primary, and outpatient care to long-term care and rehabilitation for diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other cognitive disorders.

CEE HPN and the DIGI4Care Project

CEE HPN will play a significant role in delivering key project outputs through the "Knowledge Platform & Radar" and the development of a training tool. To raise awareness about the project's outcomes, CEE HPN will also be responsible for preparing the "Innovation MD" podcast featuring international guests.

For CEE HPN, transnational collaboration on the DIGI4Care project is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the digital transformation in healthcare and enhance efficiency in this sector.

CEE HPN is leading the development of the Knowledge Platform which is a centralized hub designed to present the project's key outputs and results in an accessible format. It will provide transnationally validated insights, good practices, and cutting-edge technologies tailored to critical healthcare needs.

LOCAL PARTNER ANALYSIS

By systematically collecting the perceptions of DIGI4Care Project partners on the maturity of digital health adoption and use, we have identified key strengths and established best practices, as well as the barriers that need to be addressed. Prepared posters show results for 12 different dimensions.

ORADEA MEETING

The second interregional meeting of the DIGI4Care Project was held in Oradea from September 16 to 18, 2024. During this multi-day event, we presented the key features of the Digi4Care Knowledge Platform, showcasing the innovative Radar tool and many other digital solutions aimed at transforming healthcare.
